Digital Movement UK: The People Behind the Work

Digital Movement UK is a small search agency. We are, in fact, based at 128 City Road in London. We started in Melbourne, and today we work across the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Two founders do the work and sign the reports. Everything on this page can be checked, including the company number and the reason our reviews sit under an older name.

01 — Who we are

Digital Movement UK: a small agency that started in Melbourne

The short version, before the detail.

Digital Movement UK is a search marketing agency based at 128 City Road in London. We started in Melbourne. Since then we have worked with more than 300 businesses, and 92% of them stay with us. We still look after clients in Australia and New Zealand as well as here.

We are small. Nobody here is going to pretend otherwise, because you can check. That matters more than it sounds. When you hire a large agency, the person who wins your business is rarely the person who does it. Instead, the two founders do the work themselves.

What we do, and what we measure

Four things: SEO, AI search optimisation, paid ads and CRM. All of it points at one number, and that number is qualified enquiries. Not rankings, not traffic, not impressions. Rankings can be picked to flatter a report, but enquiries cannot.

If you want the detail of the search work itself, our SEO services page sets it out properly. This page, though, is about the company doing it. So anyone asking you for money every month should be easy to look up.

02 — The name

Why our Google reviews say Digital Movement Australia

A name mismatch you would notice anyway, explained here rather than hidden.

Digital Movement UK trades under a newer name than its review listing does. Here is the plain reason. We hold 5.0 from 102 Google reviews, filed under Digital Movement Australia. That is what the agency was called when it began in Melbourne. The reviews come from real clients, mostly Australian, and Google does not let a business move reviews to a new listing.

So we left them where they are, and we name the old listing every time we cite the score. An unexplained mismatch between a name and its reviews is the sort of thing that makes people close the tab. Search the old name and you will find the same business.

The legal bit, which you can verify

The UK company is Digital Movement Marketing Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17110525. You can read the record on the public Companies House register without taking our word for it. Registered address, filing history, the lot.

Two awards sit behind us as well, and both are Australian. Digital Reference named us Best Digital Marketing Agency in Australia for 2026. Cape Digital placed us in its Top 10 Digital Marketing Agencies in Australia. We hold no British award. Dressing up an Australian one as a UK credential would be a small lie, and small lies are the ones people catch.

03 — The people

The two people behind Digital Movement UK

Who plans it, who runs it, and how big we actually are.

Two founders run Digital Movement UK. Raoul (Alex) Müller started it and looks after search and AI visibility. He does the audits, sets the plan and writes the monthly report. So the person you ring is the person doing the work. Martey Quaye, meanwhile, co-founded the agency and leads strategy and growth. He stays close to accounts and keeps each one aimed at enquiries.

A small group of specialists works around them on design, development and ad management. We are not going to publish a headcount that flatters us. Nor will we describe ourselves as a team of forty. If the size worries you, ask on the first call and you will get a straight answer.

Why small is sometimes the wrong choice

Small suits a business that wants senior attention and a direct line. It fits a dental practice, a firm of solicitors, a vet, a company with one site and a clear goal. It is a poor fit if you need a dedicated account manager, twelve people on call and a press office. Those agencies exist, and for the right client they earn their money.

So we turn work down. A project needing people available all day belongs somewhere else. Saying that early costs everyone less than saying it in month three.

What we know well, and what we do not

Most of our live work is in dentistry and healthcare, across the UK, Australia and New Zealand. That is where our experience runs deepest. We also write for regulated trades like financial services and law firms. There the rules on what you may claim are tighter than elsewhere, so we read them before writing a word.

Outside that we are generalists. Big ecommerce catalogues and multi-language sites are work we can take, though neither is our specialism. So ask, and we will tell you which camp your project sits in.

04 — How we work

How working with Digital Movement UK goes

Three steps, and the one piece of published proof we own.

Every job at Digital Movement UK starts the same way, and it starts before you pay anything. We look at the site. We look at whoever is beating you. Then we write down what we think it would take. If the honest answer is that we cannot help, that is what the document says.

After that the work runs month to month. You get one report, written in ordinary words, showing what changed and how many enquiries came in. Some months, though, the news is worse than others. You will hear it either way, because that habit is the reason the agency exists at all.

Proof you can check yourself

We have no UK case study with hard numbers. Plenty of competitors lead with one. We are not going to invent ours. What we do have is published work you can read. Our teardown of Bupa's website takes a large, well-funded site apart in public, and it shows the sort of problem we look for.

Read it before you speak to us. It tests whether we know the trade better than any testimonial could, since you can check the findings against the live site.

01

We look first

We crawl the site, read the pages that earn you money, and list what holds them back. No charge, and no obligation afterwards.

02

We write it down

You get the plan and the number in writing, including the parts we think are not worth doing yet.

03

We report on enquiries

One report a month, in plain words, tied to calls and forms rather than rankings you cannot spend.

05 — What it costs

Why we charge £495 and not £199

The price is published, and so is the reasoning behind where it sits.

Starter SEO at Digital Movement UK costs from £495 a month. It runs rolling monthly, so there is no minimum term and nothing to buy your way out of later. Growth and Market Leader sit above it. Neither carries a published figure, because the honest number depends on your market and the state of your site.

The reason we sit at £495 is time. In practice, a retainer buys hours, and hours are the only thing any agency really sells. At £199 a month you are buying roughly half a day of someone's attention. Half a day keeps a healthy little site ticking over, but it will not rebuild a broken one.

And why not four thousand

At the other end, £4,000 a month buys a team, a project manager and a chain of approvals. That is a real service, and some businesses need exactly it. We are not that, so charging like it would be dishonest twice over.

Our full breakdown sits on the SEO pricing page. If you want the market view rather than ours, our guide to what SEO costs in the UK covers the whole range. Still, one thing worth checking on any quote is whether the price includes VAT. Plenty do not, and that gap often decides which was really cheaper.

06 — Our limits

What Digital Movement UK will not claim, and what happens when it goes wrong

Declining things is easier to verify than promising them.

We will not guarantee a ranking. Nobody can, and Google's own guidance on hiring an SEO tells you to walk away from anyone who does. Nor will we promise that ChatGPT or Google's AI answers will cite you, because no agency controls that.

We also will not sell you search when it is the wrong tool. If you need enquiries next week, though, this is not the channel. We would rather say so on the first call than on the third invoice.

When the work does not land

Sometimes it does not. A market turns out harder than it looked, or a site problem runs deeper than the first crawl showed. When that happens we say so in the monthly report, in the month it happens. You also get what we intend to do differently. Since the agreement is rolling, you can stop at the end of any month. That is the point of it.

If you run a dental practice or a clinic, our healthcare SEO page will be closer to home. Otherwise send us the address of your site and we will tell you what we think.

Our position

No guarantees, no lock-in, no borrowed credentials

We cannot promise rankings or AI citations. Nor do we tie anyone into a contract. We will not call an Australian award a British one. Each of those costs us enquiries, and we think all three are worth it.

07 — Questions

Questions people ask before they get in touch

The checks a sensible person runs on an agency, answered here.

Who is behind Digital Movement UK?

Two founders. Raoul (Alex) Müller started the agency in Melbourne and runs the search and AI visibility work, including the audits and the monthly reports. Martey Quaye, meanwhile, co-founded it and leads strategy and growth. A small group of specialists works around them on design, development and ad management. You deal with a founder, not an account handler.

Why do your Google reviews say Digital Movement Australia?

Because that is the name the agency traded under when those 102 reviews were left. The 5.0 rating is real and so are the clients, most of them Australian. Google does not let a business move reviews to a new listing, so we name the old listing every time we cite the score rather than hoping nobody notices.

Where is Digital Movement UK based?

128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. That is the only Digital Movement UK office. We work with clients across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, but we have no branch in any other city and we will not imply one.

More questions about Digital Movement UK

Is Digital Movement UK a registered company?

Yes. The legal entity is Digital Movement Marketing Ltd, company number 17110525, registered in England and Wales. The record is public on Companies House, including the registered address and the filing history, so the check takes about a minute.

What do you commit to as an employer and a supplier?

We publish it rather than describe it. Our diversity, equity and inclusion pledge sets out ten commitments covering hiring, pay, suppliers and accessibility, each one dated and owned by a named founder, alongside a list of the things we do not claim. Every commitment we publish is at our commitments.

How big is the agency?

Small. Two founders and a small group of specialists around them. We are not going to publish a headcount that makes us sound bigger than we are. If you need a large team on call with a dedicated account manager, another agency will serve you better and we will say so early.

Have you won any UK awards?

No. We hold two Australian ones: Best Digital Marketing Agency in Australia 2026 from Digital Reference, and a place in Cape Digital's Top 10 Digital Marketing Agencies in Australia. Neither is a British award and we will not describe them as one.

Next step

Look us up, then talk to us

Everything on this page can be checked, which is rather the point of it. If this sounds like the way you want to work, send us the address of your site. Digital Movement UK will look at it, tell you what we think is wrong, and give you a number. Still, there is nothing to pay for that.
