Free SEO Audit: No Obligation, No Sales Call
A free SEO audit from Digital Movement UK means a real person looks at your website. They tell you, in plain English, what we would fix first. No automated report, no sales call, no mailing list. Just our honest answer, and what it would cost to fix it, if you decide you want that.
Get a Free SEO Audit With No Strings Attached
Every page on this site already makes this offer. This is where we spell it out properly.
A free SEO audit from Digital Movement UK means a real person looks at your website. They tell you, in plain English, what we would fix first. Not a bot. Not a template PDF that lists the same twenty warnings for every domain that comes through it. One of our team opens your site the way a customer would. They check it against the things that actually cost UK businesses enquiries, so they can write back to you directly.
You have probably noticed the line under every form on this site: no mailing list, no sales calls, just our answer. That is not marketing copy written specially for this page, though it might read like it. It is how every enquiry through Digital Movement UK already gets treated. This page simply says it once, properly, instead of leaving it as a footnote under a button.
Who should send us their site
Send it if you run the business and nobody can tell you why the phone has gone quiet. It also helps if an agency has quoted you and you want a second, independent look before you sign anything. Or send it if you are not sure your last SEO work did anything at all. You do not need to know what SEO stands for, and you do not need to prepare anything first. That is rather the point of asking.
We built this page because a free SEO audit is such a common search. Most of what ranks for it is built to sell a call, not to answer the question people actually typed. We would rather answer it here, on the page you landed on. That beats making you fill in a form just to find out what you are agreeing to.
What We Actually Look At
A short, honest list. This is a review, not the full paid audit.
Your free SEO audit covers the same short list every time. So these are the things that decide whether the rest of your website even gets a chance:
- Can Google actually read it. Broken pages, missing redirects and pages that quietly block search engines are more common than you would think. Even sites that look fine to a visitor can hide these, though good ones rarely do.
- Does the page answer the search. A page can look polished and still say nothing that matches what someone typed to find you. We check the words on the page against the words people search.
- Your local presence, if you have one. If customers search for you by name or by area, we look at your Google Business Profile too. That is because, for most local businesses, it decides more than the website does.
- What is obviously missing. Sometimes it is a page that does not exist yet. Sometimes it is a competitor doing one visible thing you are not.
What this is not
This is a review, not the full technical audit we sell as a separate service. It is deliberately lighter, though we will say so rather than dress a quick look up as something bigger. If your site needs the deeper version, that is our technical SEO audit. It covers crawl-level checks, page-by-page fixes and a written report you can hand to a developer. If what you actually want to know is why a named competitor outranks you, ask for competitor analysis instead. We will point you to the right one once we have looked at what you sent us.
How the Free SEO Audit Works, Step by Step
Three steps. No countdown timer, and no promise we cannot keep.
You send us your website address, your name and an email. That is all we ask for at this stage. So asking for more, before we have even looked, would be a poor start.
We look at it ourselves. Not overnight, not by a script. Someone on our team who has reviewed sites in your sector does the work. Some competing agencies promise a report within 24 hours. Then they quietly qualify that down to 48 in their own small print. We would rather tell you plainly: we review it and get back to you within a few working days. That said, it is not a stopwatch figure invented to sound impressive.
Then we call or email you, whichever you asked for, and talk through what we found. No script, no upsell deck disguised as a chat. If there is nothing worth fixing, we say so and leave it there.
Send your website
Your web address, name and email. Nothing else, and nothing you have not already agreed to.
We look at it
A person on our team reviews the site by hand, against the same checklist we use for paying clients.
We tell you what we found
A call or an email, your choice. What we would fix first, and roughly what it is worth doing.
What You Actually Receive
A conversation with a person, not a download link.
You get a plain answer from a person, not an automated export. We will tell you the three or four things we would fix first, in the order we would fix them. So we explain roughly why each one matters to your enquiries. If something is genuinely fine as it is, we say that too. We would rather tell you that than invent a problem to justify the call.
We are not going to promise you a slick video walkthrough. There is no video as standard, though we would rather not pretend otherwise just to match an agency that does. In practice, what you actually get is more ordinary: someone who has opened your site. They compare it honestly against what already wins in your market. Then you get a short written note or a call covering the same three or four points, whichever you prefer.
If you want to see the depth we go into on a real project, look at our published Bupa teardown. It shows the same kind of analysis, done in the open on a site far larger than most. Bupa did not commission it. This is our own published research. So it is the clearest evidence we can point you to of how we actually work.
What It Costs, and Why Nothing Is the Right Price
Nothing. That is not bait. It is how we decide whether we want the job too.
It costs you nothing, and there is no follow-up fee hidden further down the page. Free is not a hook here. It is how we decide, honestly, whether taking your work on is a good match for us. Though it matters as much to us as it does to you. Looking at a site properly takes real time on our side. We only get that time back if enough of the businesses we look at decide the fit is right. So it pays us to be useful on the first look, rather than to hold anything back for a call.
A free SEO audit is also, deliberately, a one-off look rather than an ongoing service. We are not going to keep re-checking your site every month for nothing. That is the paid work, and pretending otherwise would just be a slower way of asking for a sale. One honest look, one honest answer. Then it is genuinely your decision what happens next.
If we think Starter SEO would genuinely help, we will say so and explain why. Starter SEO starts at £495 a month, rolling monthly, with no lock-in. If your site needs less than that, or something other than SEO entirely, we will say that instead. Paid ads might suit something urgent. A small fix a developer could make in an afternoon might be all you need. Our guide to what SEO costs in the UK covers the wider market. Read it before you talk to anyone, us included.
What We Will Not Do With Your Details
This is the real objection, so we will answer it directly.
The actual reason people hesitate before asking for a free review is not the word free. It is the fear that submitting a form buys them a mailing list and a string of follow-up calls. So here is what happens instead. We use your details to send you the review, and nothing beyond it. No newsletter, no drip campaign, and no third party getting your email from a pre-ticked box. Our privacy notice says the same thing in its more formal wording. The consent box on the form links straight to it.
And if we look at your site and decide you do not need us, we will tell you that plainly. Then we leave you alone. That happens more often than people expect. Sometimes the fix is small enough to hand to whoever already looks after your website. Sometimes a different service fits better than an SEO retainer. We would rather say that once, honestly, than manufacture a reason to keep talking.
No mailing list, no sales script, no manufactured urgency
We will not add you to a newsletter, or hand your details to anyone else. We will not call you back on a script written to get past no. If you do not need us, we will tell you so and stop there.
The Rest of Our SEO Work
This page is the front door. Here is where the rest of it leads.
A free SEO audit is usually the first conversation, not the whole relationship. If it turns into ongoing work, that sits under our wider SEO services. It stays on a rolling monthly agreement with no lock-in. If your business genuinely needs the deeper, paid version, that is the technical SEO audit. It covers line-by-line technical checks and a written report. If the real question is why a specific competitor outranks you, ask for competitor analysis instead. We will look at them as closely as we look at you.
Two more are worth knowing about. Wondering whether ChatGPT or Google's AI Overviews ever mention your business? Our AI visibility audit covers that separately, and it is a genuinely different check from a standard free SEO audit. If you are a small business worried that agencies only want big budgets, start with SEO for small businesses. It was written for exactly that concern. We hold 5.0 from 102 Google reviews, filed under the agency's original name, Digital Movement Australia. That is from over 300 clients, with 92% of them still with us.

Questions About the Free Review
The ones that stop people submitting the form, answered plainly.
Is the SEO audit really free?
Yes. There is no fee, no card details, and no follow-up invoice for the review itself. We do this because looking at your site is also how we decide whether we want to work with you. That only works if the first look is genuinely useful, not deliberately thin.
What happens after I submit my website?
One of our team looks at it by hand. Then we get in touch by whichever method you asked for, a call or an email. You will not hear from a different department, and you will not be added to a mailing list.
Will I get a call, or just a report?
Whichever you prefer. So some people want a short call talking through what we found. Others would rather read it in an email. Tell us on the form and we will match it, rather than defaulting to a call.
More questions about the free SEO audit
How long will it take to hear back?
A few working days in most cases. We are not going to invent a 24-hour promise to sound impressive. A review done well takes real time, because a rushed one is worth less when it lands.
Is this the same as the technical SEO audit?
No. This is a lighter review, though it tells you what we would fix first. Our <a href="/technical-seo-audit/">technical SEO audit</a> is the paid, line-by-line version, with a full written report you can hand to a developer.
Do I have to sign up for anything to get my results?
No. We ask for your website address, your name and an email, because we cannot reply without them. There is no account to create, no card to enter, and no contract attached to asking.
